Lee Boulevard included the widening of an existing two-lane road within a highly urbanized area with limited available right-of-way. The design included utility relocation plans as well as utilization of existing right-of-way to treat run-off for water quality while maintaining, or improving, existing drainage for adjacent properties. Limited right-of-way constraints required a coordinated effort from the Barraco team with the South Florida Water Management District to design a water management system for the road.
