Metro Parkway Utilities Relocation

Barraco and Associates is currently providing civil engineering, survey services and construction observation for the relocation of existing utilities and installation of new utilities to facilitate the realignment of Evans Avenue (to be renamed Metro Parkway at completion) for the City of Fort Myers.  The surveying services being performed include providing as-built information after the utilities have been installed.  The project is ongoing at this time.

This utility relocation project covers Evans Avenue from Hanson Street to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, Hanson Street from Fowler Street to Evans Avenue, and Edison Avenue from Fowler Street to Evans Avenue in the City of Fort Myers (a total of 1.25 miles in length). Barraco and Associates joined the project, already in progress, in July 2007. Project completion is anticipated in the third quarter of 2008.
