Land Surveying

Barraco and Associates, Inc. (BAI) has maintained a strong surveying tradition since 1998. We provide surveying both as a stand-alone service and as an integral part of our engineering and planning projects. We maintain a full complement of licensed survey personnel, experienced support staff, and high-tech equipment.

BAI has an extensive library of survey records. This library is a tremendous resource and saves our clients time and expense.

BAI utilizes the most up to date surveying equipment: Leica Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers for static control surveys and Leica Real Time Kinematic (RTK)® equipment for survey data collection. We are committed to utilizing GPS on major survey projects. We maintain a staff of survey technicians with the latest training in GPS equipment, as well as the latest training in the software necessary to download and process information collected in the field. To better serve our clients, BAI provides a range of services from complete control surveys to residential lot surveys.

The use of GPS technology enables our crews to efficiently survey in terrain where it is not practical to use conventional equipment. This technology also allows BAI to accurately manage the control networks needed for large projects such as highways and other municipal projects.

By incorporating modern technology in both the field and office we are able to provide our clients with cost effective products and services. Our survey crews utilize the latest in hardware and software allowing us to collect field data and directly enter it into our CAD Design files. The electronic collection and transfer of data ensures both accuracy and timeliness.
